Fox News host Jesse Watters possibly gave some of his viewers a bit of a shock on Friday when he said he hopes that Democrats win the House of Representatives in the upcoming midterm elections.
During Friday’s edition of “The Five,” Watters said he wants the Democrats to win because the network needs “something to cover.”
“Because I want to see my guy Pete Hegseth in front of the House Oversight Committee, just punching them in the face,” Watters said. “We need something to cover; I want to see Don[ald Trump] Jr. up there, I want to see [Stephen] Miller up there just giving it to these guys.”
“Hope not” Watters said. “I doubt it, but they’re gonna bring it.”
Recent polling shows that Watters may very well get his wish.
