In a gaggle with reporters aboard Air Force One, the subject turned to AI, which is emerging as an issue for the midterm elections.
“Have you ever used it yourself?” a journalist asked.
“Yeah, I do,” he replied.
“How do you use AI?” the reporter said.
“You can use AI for a lot of things,” he answered.
“What do you use it for?” the reporter followed up.
“Oh,” the president replied, “I don’t want to tell you that.”
The president’s Truth Social account spews AI slop ― a fact he is likely keenly aware of. Or not?
Or perhaps he was guarding a seemingly state secret.
Or he was possibly being vague because he doesn’t know what the heck he’s talking about.
He then denied downplaying. “It’s gonna be more good than bad ― but by a lot,” he said.
“Whoever wins AI, wins,” he said before adding, “It’s an expression I came up with, and it’s true.”
