    Udaipur Marriott Hotel has announced the appointment of Ashish Kumar as its new General Manager

    In his new role, Ashish will be responsible for leading overall hotel operations, driving business performance, strengthening brand positioning, and enhancing guest experiences across all touchpoints.

    Ashish brings with him over 27 years of extensive experience in the hospitality industry, having worked across luxury and full-service hotels in India and international markets. With a strong foundation in Rooms Operations, he possesses deep expertise in hotel administration, revenue optimisation, asset management, and strategic leadership, including pre-openings, renovations, and large-scale operations.

    An alumnus of the International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM), Ashish completed his Diploma in Hotel and Catering Management in 1999 and later pursued Business Management from the All-India Council for Management Studies in 2001 and Personal Management & Industrial Relations in 2005.

    Throughout his distinguished career, Ashish has been associated with some of the most prestigious hospitality brands, including Hyatt, Taj, and ITC Hotels, with over 17 years of impactful tenure at Hyatt.

    In his previous role, Ashish successfully led revenue optimization across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Banquets, and all points of sale, while implementing disciplined cost controls and operational efficiencies, resulting in improved GOP and EBITDA performance. He is known for driving brand excellence, employee development, and stakeholder engagement, while building high-performing teams in competitive markets.
