Longtime Republican strategist and Fox News personality Karl Rove drew big laughs on Friday by doing a fairly solid impression of President Donald Trump.
“So, so terrible,” Rove said, doing his impression of the president, complete with hand gestures. “Stone cold loser. Total, total loser. He’s a total loser. Nobody’s ever seen anything like this. They say, ‘Sir, total stone cold loser.’”
Salama said as the audience laughed and cheered, “That was very impressive.”
Rove, a longtime adviser to former President George W. Bush, last week announced he will vote for Democratic candidate Jon Rosenthal for the Texas Railroad Commission due to “bigoted” comments by Republican candidate Bo French.
It’s just the second time in his life he is voting for a Democrat, he said.
“The GOP has a growing number of Bo Frenches—and not only in Texas,” Rove wrote in a Wall Street Journal column tearing into the “Jew-haters, misogynists who worship hypermasculinity, conspiracy nuts seeking clicks for profit, and religious bigots” in the party.
