The “powerful and effective” AquaSonic Black Series Ultra Whitening Toothbrush has over 92,000 5-star ratings on Amazon, and for good reason. Complete with a 40,000 VPM (vibrations per minute) motor, four brushing modes, smart vibration timers and a two-minute auto shutoff, the toothbrush is approved by the American Dental Association for its excellent plaque removal skills. It’s also well-designed, both waterproof and with an ergonomic handle.
With proper, regular use, AquaSonic claims that the toothbrush can help whiten your teeth in as little as two weeks, and it comes with eight replacement brush heads, which can last you up to two and a half years. Two years of whiter teeth for about $40? Say less.
And this isn’t just any toothbrush. This is a full kit meant to ensure you won’t need another toothbrush OR brush heads for a very long time.
In addition to the toothbrush and eight replacement heads, you also get a travel case so you can take your new best friend with you on the go. You can charge the toothbrush wirelessly, but won’t have to do it very often, since the battery can last up to four weeks on a single charge.
The reviews for this thing are next-level; people talk about this toothbrush like it truly makes them happier.
“I felt like I had just left my dentist’s office after a full session of ultrasonic plaque removal, gum stimulation and tooth polishing,” one reviewer wrote. “The feeling, as my tongue probed every millimeter of my teeth and gums, was one of sheer joy.” Another said, “I can’t believe the difference this has made in my appearance and in my confidence. I used to be nervous about speaking because of my teeth.” Yet another wrote, “Just be prepared for questions like, ‘Why are you smiling so much after brushing?’—because this brush and I have a bond now.”

“This is hands-down the best toothbrush I have ever used!!! The battery lasts a long time. It comes with several heads, it cleans thoroughly with multiple settings, it comes with a carrying case and a cover, and it is super easy to use! It takes less time to clean my teeth and my mouth gets so much cleaner compared to any other toothbrush I’ve ever used! The bristles are gentle on the gums. The two minute timer helps to assure I’m taking adequate time to clean my mouth, and it leaves my teeth feeling squeaky clean. I have no complaints.” — Mattelyn
“The world is a better place with this in it. I am so thankful that my kids can grow up in a world with a toothbrush so luxurious as this. If this existed 50 years ago root canals would not exist today. Maybe that last line is too grandiose a claim, but not by much.
It’s soft, so soft, but oh so thorough.
I have a Phillips-Sonicare but frankly I hate it. I hate it so much I hated brushing my teeth. I’m a former dental assistant (decades ago before college) and seeing the results of people neglecting their teeth still haunts me. I am related to and/or friends with a half dozen or more dentists. I know how important dental hygiene is. Yet I hated all my toothbrushes until I found this 9th wonder of the world. My teeth feel like I just left the dentist office. Truth be told, I had a cleaning 4 days ago but still, the results after 1 use are amazing. Add to that the multiple heads, the price, and the low noise level (it didn’t wake up light sleepers who were only feet away from me tonight when I first brushed my teeth ). I love this so much I’m pretty sure I’m going to become that weird old aunt who gives her 9 yr old nephew a toothbrush for his birthday.” — mom“this toothbrush is WORTH THE PRICE. first off, 2 years worth of heads? amazing. not even expensive sets do that. but the clean?? the different functions on the toothbrush are amazing. and no matter what i select my teeth feel like i just left the dentist. i have seriously never had an electric toothbrush like this.” — Amazon Customer
“I bought this toothbrush in October of 2020, back when it was only $26. To be honest, I didn’t hold out a lot of hope that it would be great – but boy, was I mistaken! Years later, it’s still going strong. I do forget to charge it for weeks on end (so that may actually help it, since ‘battery conditioning’ is a thing, from what I’ve been told – too frequent charging of batteries can actually damage them) and it has never run out power. Replacement heads are inexpensive (just ordered a set of 10 for $9.99). Even at the $39 current price, I think this toothbrush is a good deal. I remember being surprised at how clean my teeth felt after using it the first time, and that was coming from long-time use of the ‘brand’ name toothbrushes we had. I know the Sonicare and Phillips that we used to use are way more expensive, and would have thought they’d do better than this one… but no!” — Reads 2 Much
