Class of 2028 Softball Recruit Skye Hebert Launches Custom Recruiting Website Built by BlakSheep Creative

The Brusly High and Louisiana Lady Dukes pitcher now has a player-owned site where college coaches can find verified stats, game film, and a direct line to recruit her.

BRUSLY, La. Skye Hebert, a class of 2028 softball pitcher and utility player for Brusly High School and the Louisiana Lady Dukes 16U, has launched a custom college-recruiting website built by BlakSheep Creative. The site gives college coaches one place to review her verified stats, watch game film, check her showcase schedule, and reach her directly, and Skye owns it outright.

For travel ball families, that single link solves a real problem. A recruit’s profile usually lives on rented platforms and scattered highlight links, none of which the athlete controls. The new site puts everything a coach needs in one fast, mobile-friendly page that Skye keeps for the length of her recruitment.

The timing matters. College softball is one of the hardest sports to reach the next level in. Only about 6.5 percent of high school softball players go on to compete in NCAA softball, and just 2.1 percent reach Division I, according to the NCAA’s research on the probability of competing beyond high school. In a field that thin, being easy for a coach to find and evaluate is part of the work.

“I play because I love that feeling when you work hard at something and actually see yourself get better,” said Skye Hebert on her site. “Softball has taught me a lot about pushing myself, bouncing back when things get tough, and going after goals that matter to me on the mound and in the classroom.”

The website leads with the details a coach checks first: class year, positions, height and weight, GPA, high school, and travel team, all visible at the top of the page. From there, it opens into the full evaluation:

    • A stats section with current-season pitching and batting numbers laid out for fast reading
    • Season reels and categorized game film that play inline, with no autoplay
    • An awards timeline covering tournament MVP honors, All-State nominations, and back-to-back district titles
    • A live showcase and camp schedule so coaches know exactly where to see her play
    • A featured coach endorsement for third-party credibility
    • A prominent recruiter inquiry form that routes straight to Skye and her family

Coaches increasingly form a first impression online before they ever see a player in person, which makes verified stats and clean, watchable film more valuable than a stack of unsorted clips. Building that home base early is not premature. Under NCAA rules, Division I softball coaches can begin contacting recruits as early as September 1 of an athlete’s junior year, per the NCAA Division I softball recruiting calendar. For a class of 2028 player, that window is close enough to prepare for now.

Skye’s on-field case is already strong. She is a two-time district champion and a 2026 state runner-up with Brusly High, a two-time All-State nominee, and a repeat travel ball tournament MVP who has pitched up against older competition.

“Skye’s versatility is one of her greatest strengths,” said Coach Jenn Sibley of the Louisiana Lady Dukes 16U. “She has the ability to contribute in multiple positions and competes with confidence, toughness, and determination every time she steps on the field. She consistently puts in extra work outside of practice to improve her game and is always striving to become a better athlete.”

The recruiting site was designed and built by BlakSheep Creative through its Recruit Spotlight program, which builds custom, player-owned websites for travel ball and high school athletes.

“Families put thousands of hours and dollars into travel ball, and then the athlete’s profile ends up on a platform they rent and can lose,” said Clint Sanchez, founder of BlakSheep Creative. “We built Skye a site she actually owns, one that looks as serious as she plays and gives a college coach everything they need in a single scroll. It keeps working for her at a showcase or asleep the night before one.”

Skye Hebert’s recruiting site is live now at skyehebert.com. Families with a recruiting athlete can learn more about custom recruiting websites at blaksheepcreative.com.
