Amanah Saham Nasional Bhd (ASNB), announced a dividend of 6.25 sen per unit for the Amanah Saham Malaysia for the financial year ending 31st March, 2018 which is higher than 6 sen declared in 2018.

The dividend will involve a payout of RM1.1 billion, which will benefit more than 540,000 unit holders who currently hold 18.4 billion units.
The income distribution will be reinvested in additional units of ASM and be automatically credited into unitholders’ accounts on 2nd April 2018.
ASM transactions at all branches and agents nationwide will be suspended in between 23rd March to 31st March 2018 to facilitate the calculation of income distribution. Unitholders can update their investment books starting from 2nd April 2018.
The calculation of the income distribution is based on the average minimum balance held throughout the financial year of ASM.
