This water flosser was designed to be both easy to install and use. If you’ve ever messed around with or changed your shower head, you are likely already familiar with all its moving parts. It installs directly into your shower head, so you can say goodbye to the charging cords, batteries and bulky water tanks that accompany traditional water flossers.
It has a simple control lever that lets you customize the water pressure and temperature, so you get a truly effective deep clean, personalized to your needs every time. (Most reviewers recommend starting at the lowest setting so you get used to the pressure, as it can be quite forceful). It’s a great option for hard-to-reach spots and for people who need a powerful flosser that can work around braces, implants, bridges and crowns with ease. This shower flosser is designed to deliver a targeted stream of water that won’t damage your teeth or dental work while still power washing your chompers clean.
In previous HuffPost reporting, one dentist told HuffPost, “Water flossers do a great job at removing additional bacteria, debris and food particles that brushing and flossing do not. I also highly recommend it for gum health, as it reduces the chances of gingivitis and gum disease.”
According to the Mayo Clinic, water flossing can be helpful for people with braces or other orthodontic work, like a permanent retainer that makes it difficult to properly use traditional string floss. Water flossing can also be useful for people with limited mobility who might have trouble holding string floss and performing the required delicate movements.
If the reviewers are any indication, this is one little appliance that deserves its spot in your home. One reviewer proclaimed, “I feel as if I’ve just had a teeth cleaning at the dentist,” adding that, “the pressure is incredible!” Keep reading for other glowing reviews from people who have actually tried it and then pick one up for yourself. Gone are the days of grimy teeth and messy, wet countertops and mirrors.
“Save the sink and counters from being a waterpark. This is the game changer. Ive got a ticklish mouth I guess. And using the over the sink one…well is a just a wild scene and looks like a bird bathed in the sink! Water everywhere once the tickle hits. So THIS shower hookup is the best. Nobody knows the wild that happens. No mess. Theres already water from the shower so who cares. I love this thing. My towels are being saved and less soaked. You can still adjust the water pressure as needed. Comes with spare tips. I am a better roommate because of this.” — Shee_na_na
“One of the better units I have used. Easy to install. Once in place easy to turn on and off. Would buy again.” — Ernest L Dunbar
“This is a wonderful product. Now that I have attached it correctly to my shower head and presenting no leaks, I have unlimited water supply when water flossing. My portable waterpik I now use when I travel. I do not have to use my waterpik on the sink and have water splashing all over the mirror, faucet, etc. This product was easy to install. Highly recommended if you want healthy teeth and gums. After each use, I just leave it dangling straight down so all the water will drain out of the hose. I wish they have a version where the hose is coiled (like the cord of a landline telephone).” — Olajuwon
“Long term review [posted 2026]: I bought this in May of 2020. Visits to my Dental Hygienist have gone from painful sessions of dread, to more of a “catch up on life social event”. The value of the device effectiveness is only equaled by its convenience.” — Blue
“I do not normally write these so that alone should tell you I’m satisfied. This thing is amazing. An oral care game changer. My teeth feel immaculately clean and it is very easy to use. I’ve used waterpicks in the past but they always annoyed me with how loud they were, dribbling all over the bathroom aiming for the sink, and how often I had to refill them. This is quiet because it just uses water, you can adjust the water temp, and you are in the shower so a mess isn’t a problem. Be careful with managing the water flow and make sure you use enough teflon tape when installing.” — techstudent12
“For a super busy human like myself the in-shower water flossed has been a game changer. I am very diligent in taking care of my teeth and floss twice a day. By having this in the shower I can do both at the same time which makes getting ready much faster. It is adjustable in terms of water pressure which I like. I would buy again.” — DJ
“Excellent idea and product! Just goes to prove smart doesn’t mean digital pollution and downloading yet another app. Simple. No electricity and yet it works better than any irrigator I have ever used. Just start on a low setting, because high is very powerful. You might even be able to power wash your shower with it. Kudos to an excellent invention.” — tcs
