IHG signs 350-key InterContinental Mumbai Goregaon, scheduled for 2030, expanding its India luxury lifestyle hotel portfolio

IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Zon Hotels (Mumbai) Private Limited to develop InterContinental Mumbai Goregaon. The hotel is scheduled to open in Q1 2030. The upcoming property will be located in Goregaon, in Mumbai’s western suburbs. Positioned between Andheri and Malad, the hotel is expected to cater to business and leisure travellers using this commercial corridor.
InterContinental Mumbai Goregaon will have 350 rooms, including 70 suites. The hotel will also include five dining venues, comprising an all-day dining restaurant, a bar, speciality restaurants and a lobby lounge. The property will offer meeting and event facilities across multiple spaces, including a large ballroom. Other planned facilities include a fitness centre, spa, swimming pool, retail spaces and parking.

The signing adds to the company’s luxury and lifestyle portfolio in India and strengthens its presence in Mumbai. IHG currently has 52 hotels operating across seven brands in India, including Six Senses, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Crowne Plaza, voco Hotels, Holiday Inn Resort and Holiday Inn Express. The company also has a pipeline of 98 hotels expected to open over the next three to five years.
