“I’ve owned a Waterpik flossing/brush combination for many years now. I love both of them, they do an excellent job at blasting food particles from between teeth and cleaning/polishing the surfaces of teeth respectively. How I came across this product, was I was searching for a portable charger for the toothbrush. With a full charge, it lasts about a week, and normally that’s the length of my journeys away from home. I was looking at a slightly longer trip, and wanted a way to charge the brush away from home. The normal method of charging the brush is to place it on the base of the flossing unit. It works well, but is quite bulky, and I didn’t want to take the whole thing on the trip. I had seen pictures of a small base that charges the brush and was searching for it.
After some extensive research, I discovered that the smaller portable charger works only with the newer brush in this review. I didn’t really want a second brush, but figured it would be a backup in case the original died.
This turned out to be a very happy mistake. This newer brush is phenomenal. It has much better action than the original. I absolutely love this new one. The brushing action really gets in there to knock out even particles lodged between teeth. Far superior to the original!! The small footprint charging base is just perk compared to the huge advancement of brushing action. I no longer use the original. The new one is SO much better.
