According to one user, its “vibrations feel soothing and cleansing on my gums.” It’s usually $49.96, but today, you can take $5 off the pink, black and white models by clipping the on-page coupon. The rechargeable toothbrush has two vibration settings (low and high), a carry case, a charging dock and a light at its base that reminds you when to replace your brush head. What reviewers seem to love most is its pressure sensor, which warns you if you’re overbrushing or brushing too hard via light signals — perfect for those with sensitivity issues.

“If you brush too hard, apply too much pressure or have receding gums this will help. The pressure sensor will tell you when you are applying too much pressure which will help correct receding gums. You and the dentist will see the difference.” — Carrie C.
“I love the quad pacer feature on here and the vibrations feel soothing and cleansing on my gums. The color is really pretty also, which makes that an added benefit. The battery charger is nice, no need to constantly replace actual batteries. I haven’t traveled with it yet but I know it’ll be just fine in that situation also. I love this toothbrush. And it’s fairly lightweight but feels sturdy in my grasp. I should never have waited this long to buy this. And at that price point, it’s the perfect toothbrush. Definitely order if you’re in need of a new one or if you’re still using a manual. This thing is amazing.” — Jax
“I like this toothbrush. My teeth feel really clean after using for 2 minutes. It has a load of useful features: high and low vibration modes, alert for using XS pressure, alert if the battery is running low, alert if the brush head needs to be replaced, 30 second alerts x4 to help you space your 2 minutes use and auto off at 2 minutes. It’s sleek, easy to keep clean, easy to hold. My only minor criticism is that it can be hard to know the orientation of the brush in your mouth. An oval instead of round shape would help that. The battery is reported to last two weeks (I keep mine plugged in). Overall, I recommend it highly.” — Bennett E. Werner
“Switching to the Philips Sonicare 4100 has been a fantastic upgrade from my old power toothbrush! One of the main reasons I chose this model was the pressure sensor feature—it’s been a lifesaver for my sensitive gums. The sensor keeps my brushing gentle, and I can feel the difference immediately. The quality of the vibrations is excellent, much smoother and more effective than my previous brush. Another highlight is the long-lasting battery. I keep the toothbrush on a shelf to keep it out of the way, and it’s great that I don’t have to constantly bring it back to charge. I also appreciate that the bristles are rubber-free, which adds to the comfort and effectiveness. Overall, I’m really happy with this upgrade; it’s been a worthwhile investment for my dental health!” — Josh
“This is a great toothbrush! I had one for years and used it religiously. Sadly, it got old and tired and I had to replace it. With so many available, I became confused because of the big difference in prices. I thought I’d have to spend at least $200, which was what I paid for my old dinosaur many years ago. This brush is from a solid company and SO reasonable in price. The best part of the story is, I LOVE it. It cleans beautifully and is nice and light in weight. If you are in need of a new toothbrush, I HIGHLY recommend this little beauty! My old one was white, so I treated myself to pink! Black would be a great option for the guys (good Christmas gift!). I don’t usually post anything. But seriously, you can’t go wrong, and if you hate it, it can be returned. No brainer!!!” — Shannon F.
